The Ultimate Caesars Palace Las Vegas Tower Guide (We Stayed in ALL 6 Towers)

If you’re planning a trip to Caesars Palace Las Vegas, there’s one question that keeps popping up online:

Which Caesars Palace tower is the best?

And honestly… It’s a harder question than most people think.

Caesars Palace isn’t just one hotel. It’s practically a small city in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, with multiple towers, different room styles, different vibes, different locations, and wildly different experiences depending on where you stay. Some towers are close to the casino and nightlife. Others are quiet and tucked away near the pool. Some rooms feel modern, while others lean into that classic old-school Vegas energy.

So, we decided to do something a little ridiculous.

We stayed in EVERY tower at Caesars Palace Las Vegas to figure out:

  • Which tower has the best rooms

  • Which tower is closest to the pool

  • Which tower is best for food lovers

  • Which tower is best for first-time Vegas visitors

  • Which tower feels the most luxurious

  • Which tower might not be worth the price

And after several days, a lot of walking, way too much food, and more elevator rides than we can count… we finally have answers.

Staying At Every Caesars Las Vegas Tower - Full Resort Guide

Caesars Palace Towers Explained

Here are the six towers we stayed in during our Caesars Palace Las Vegas review:

  • Augustus Tower

  • Octavius Tower

  • Colosseum Tower

  • Palace Tower

  • Julius Tower

  • Nobu Hotel Tower

Each tower offers a completely different experience, and where you stay can seriously affect your Vegas vacation.

Best Caesars Palace Tower for Quiet Luxury: Augustus Tower

The Augustus Tower immediately surprised us.

The rooms were MASSIVE, especially for a standard king room. The space honestly felt closer to a suite than a typical Las Vegas hotel room. There was a huge seating area, workstation, dining table, oversized bathroom, and even a jetted tub included in a standard room.

That’s something becoming increasingly rare in Las Vegas.

The Augustus Tower is ideal for:

  • Couples

  • Relaxing Vegas trips

  • People wanting quieter rooms

  • Travelers who prioritize room comfort

  • Guests wanting Strip views

The downside?
You are farther from the casino action and some of Caesars Palace’s busiest attractions.

But honestly, that’s also part of the appeal.

If you’re searching:

  • “Best Caesars Palace room”

  • “Quiet tower at Caesars Palace”

  • “Largest Caesars Palace rooms”

…Augustus Tower is absolutely one of the strongest options.

Best Caesars Palace Tower for Pool Access: Octavius Tower

If your Vegas trip revolves around the pool, the Octavius Tower may be the best tower at Caesars Palace.

This tower sits extremely close to the famous Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, one of the most iconic pool complexes in Las Vegas.

The Octavius rooms were:

  • large

  • comfortable

  • slightly more modern feeling

  • close to the pool

  • near some of Caesars’ best restaurants

One of the biggest perks?
You’re also near:

  • Bacchanal Buffet

  • Peter Luger Steak House Las Vegas

  • Pronto by Giada

That combination of pool access and dining convenience makes Octavius Tower one of the best choices for food-focused Vegas travelers.

The rooms also included another rare Vegas feature:
A jetted Jacuzzi tub in a standard room.

Is Bacchanal Buffet Worth It?

This is one of the MOST searched Caesars Palace questions online.

And after finally revisiting Bacchanal Buffet, we have mixed feelings.

The good:

  • huge variety

  • excellent seafood

  • fantastic crab legs

  • great prime rib

  • beautiful presentation

  • classic Vegas buffet experience

The not-so-good:

  • extremely expensive

  • some dishes felt average

  • value didn’t fully match the price

In our opinion, Bacchanal is worth trying once for the Vegas experience alone, especially since traditional Las Vegas buffets are slowly disappearing. But if you’re looking strictly at value for money, there are probably better dining options on the Strip.

Best Caesars Palace Tower for Foodies & Entertainment: Colosseum Tower

The Colosseum Tower might honestly be the best location inside Caesars Palace.

This tower puts you near:

  • the casino

  • shopping

  • nightlife

  • entertainment

  • celebrity chef restaurants

  • the sportsbook

  • Omnia Nightclub

  • The Colosseum theater

If you want to stay in the center of the action, this is probably the tower for you.

Nearby dining includes:

  • Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill

  • Amalfi by Bobby Flay

  • Vanderpump Cocktail Garden

  • Dominique Ansel Las Vegas

This side of Caesars Palace genuinely feels alive 24/7.

The room itself was smaller than Augustus and Octavius, but it also felt more modern in certain ways, especially with the bathroom and outlet placement.

Best Hidden Food Spot at Caesars Palace

One of the biggest surprises during this trip?

The celebrity food hall near the Colosseum Tower.

We tried several spots and honestly found some of the best value meals inside Caesars Palace there.

Vegas food can get VERY expensive quickly, so finding something delicious that doesn’t completely destroy your wallet feels like a win these days.

Also:
Never skip Dominique Ansel Las Vegas.

The Cronuts are still legendary.

Best Caesars Palace Tower for Pool Lovers: Palace Tower

The Palace Tower shocked us.

This tower may actually have the BEST overall combination of:

  • room size

  • pool access

  • bathroom quality

  • functionality

  • comfort

The biggest advantage?
The pool entrance is literally across the hallway from the elevator bank.

If your Vegas trip is all about:

  • relaxing

  • swimming

  • cabanas

  • pool drinks

  • Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis

…Palace Tower is incredibly hard to beat.

And honestly?
The Garden of the Gods pool complex remains one of the best-themed pools in Las Vegas.

The Roman-inspired theming genuinely makes it feel different from many of the newer luxury resorts on the Strip.

Most Dated Caesars Palace Tower: Julius Tower

The Julius Tower was probably the most polarizing tower we stayed in.

On one hand:

  • it definitely feels older

  • some parts feel dated

  • it has classic Vegas energy

  • certain design elements show their age

But on the other hand:

  • the rooms are still large

  • the location is solid

  • the views can still be fantastic

  • it feels very “old Vegas”

There’s something nostalgic about it.

If you love classic Las Vegas history and don’t mind older design elements, Julius Tower still has charm.

But if you want the most modern luxury experience possible, you may prefer Augustus, Octavius, or Nobu.

Best Caesars Palace Restaurants

One thing Caesars Palace absolutely excels at?

Food.

Some of our favorite dining experiences included:

  • Cafe Americano

  • Pronto by Giada

  • Dominique Ansel Las Vegas

  • Bacchanal Buffet

Cafe Americano especially surprised us as a reliable casual dining option inside Caesars Palace, especially late at night.

Is Caesars Palace Worth It in 2026?

After staying in every tower, we think the answer is:
Yes… with a few caveats.

What Caesars Palace does really well:

  • iconic Vegas atmosphere

  • huge rooms

  • excellent food

  • incredible pool complex

  • central Strip location

  • entertainment options

  • classic Las Vegas energy

But there are also drawbacks:

  • long walks

  • some outdated areas

  • inconsistent room modernization

  • expensive food

  • confusing layout at times

Still, there’s something about Caesars Palace that feels uniquely Vegas in a way many newer resorts simply don’t.

Final Thoughts: Which Caesars Palace Tower Is Best?

If we had to break it down:

At Caesars Palace, that makes a HUGE difference.
