After years of struggling with my weight and trying every diet imaginable, I made the life-changing decision to undergo bariatric surgery. It wasn’t an easy choice, but after consulting with my doctors and understanding the benefits, I knew it was the right step for my long-term health. My highest weight was 370 lbs, and being a type 2 diabetic, I knew I needed to make a change.

The pre-op phase was challenging—liquid diets, medical tests, and emotional ups and downs. But my husband, Chris, was by my side, supporting me through every step. His encouragement made the process easier, and together we faced the surgery with hope and determination. Now, post-surgery, I’m adjusting to my new life.
